After Your Surgery

Post-Operative Instructions

In the event there has been an opening in the sinus and a closure was performed, please adhere to the following precautions:

• Do not blow your nose!
• Do not smoke!
• Do not drink through a straw!
• Avoid sneezing if at all possible. If you realize this is unavoidable, sneeze with your mouth open.
• Take your antibiotics as directed by your oral surgeon.
• Take an over-the-counter decongestant. Use according to package instructions.
