Logan's Story

"When I was first told that I needed jaw surgery, I was 13 years old. Then I got hooked up with the Oral and Facial Surgeons of Illinois. The reception staff was amazing. The waiting staff was really nice. The doctors were also nice, and they all helped me through the whole entire process. I was very nervous before the surgery, but I’m really glad that I stuck through it and actually did it. The quality of my life has gotten a lot better. I notice I can talk a lot better, more clearly. I can eat whatever I want now and not have to worry about food getting stuck in my mouth, not have to worry about painful situations with my jaw. Dr. Fischer was really great. He would just come up, make me feel a lot better about everything, and I really wouldn’t feel as worried, as nervous. If anybody needed surgery on their face or anywhere around there, I would tell them to go to Oral and Facial Surgeons of Illinois."
